Hello! I'm Greta, a full-stack product designer and humane technologist living on the unceded lands of the Duwamish people.

I studied Graphic Design at the Shintaro Akatsu School of Design at University of Bridgeport and Human-Centered Design at the University of Washington. My passion for technology and design has been in me since an early age, it might even be traced back to middle school when I built my first website.

For over 15 years I have been inspired by the agency and creative determination latent in communities, particularly youth and kids. I have co-hosted international dialogue cafes, animated multiple neighborhood youth groups for middle schoolers, volunteered in educational programs in Palestine, Uganda, and the United States.

I served as the VP of Software at a creative development agency in Asheville, NC and have served as the lead UX designer at Committee for Children for the past 5 years. During this time I have led numerous successful and significant releases to the Second Step® Social-Emotional Learning digital platform and expanded the organization's UX research capacities significantly.

A a humane technologist I believe that technology can create positive and humanizing effect in our lives, but only by designing for dignity and respect for life. By aligning the motivation for thriving life to business opportunities, companies and product design can play a significant role in nurturing sustainable, equitable, and vibrant futures. This is the beauty of the human-centered design, and this is why I love what I do.

What is your story? Drop me note and I look forward to meeting you.
